Welcome to Anti-Victim.Org. Our primary goal is to help women develop and enhance their sense of personal security by offering awareness education and facilitating discussions in living rooms, work places, libraries, college dormitories, sororities, civic clubs, and other group meetings in local communities.
By developing and trusting their personal security sense, women can become aware and prepared to act to avoid becoming a victim or a target of criminal activity.

My Security Sense - Our Community Education Program

Women's safety in today's society knows no generational gap. There are often distinct differences based on the community in which women live. For this reason, we provide a variety of programs customized for the audience and the situations they are likely to experience.

Our My Security Sense programs uniquely focus on the two most significant methods of self-protection: awareness and a preparedness to act. The main purpose of our education programs is to reinforce the importance of remaining diligent in public while being mentally and physically prepared to react to avoid being targeted by criminals and to reduce the potential of becoming a victim of violent crime.

All of our My Security Sense programs are aimed at promoting positive self-worth and personal responsibility. We specifically DO NOT create an atmosphere of fear in order to promote the need for people to protect themselves. Instead, our programs serve to validate the right for people (particularly women) to feel and to explore how their feelings can form the foundation of their own personal sense of security.

Each My Security Sense program also provides accurate and non-biased information about the different types of personal protection products on the market today. From emergency whistles to tasers, there is a large and often confusing assortment of non-lethal deterrence devices available. Knowing which types of personal protection products are best in various situations is not just important but can potentially be life saving.

Personal protection product demonstrations are also an important part of our My Security Sense Programs. Combined with the general product education in the program, our demonstrations are specifically intended to help attendees determine the type of non-lethal deterrence, if any, that meets their individual needs and preferences.

Anti-Victim.Org promotes individual advocacy and preparedness through membership in our organization. Most of our Membership Levels include a Thank You Gift constisting of of a choice set of personal security devices. Our membership website also provides our supporters the opportunity to purchase a choice set personal security devices specifically selected from to results of our staff's independent industry research.

We believe that once people are educated about their personal security and deterrence options, they need a comfortable and safe place to purchase these products. All proceeds from the sales of memberships and personal security devices are used by Anti-Victim.Org and used to assist us in our mission.
